We were introduced to Jane through Paul when I worked for him in the Personnel Department at Cadbury's, must be some 30 years ago. Both Vick and I have wonderful memories of fun-filled evenings sat around their BBQ when they lived in Kings Norton...Then in 1990 our paths separated. But it never mattered how long the gap in between our visits were, we always knew the wonderful, friendly welcome we were going to receive from both Jane and Paul. Even when the motor neurone disease took away Jane's speech, the twinkle in her eyes whenever she looked at her family told you how happy they made her.
